Who We Are
We’re the founders of ClinicianCEO, and our journey started long before we ever planned to teach anyone how to open a wellness clinic.
Before launching PUUR Health & Wellness, Trevin worked as a healthcare consultant, helping large organizations navigate operations and strategy, while Mike spent years as a registered nurse providing hands-on patient care. Even with our combined backgrounds, we quickly learned that nothing truly prepares you for opening your own clinic.
Like most first-time founders, we learned everything from scratch. We made mistakes. We figured things out the long, hard way.
We started in a small shared space with limited resources, slowly building systems, refining services, and learning the realities of compliance, CPOM laws, medical directors, vendors, and patient acquisition. Eventually, we grew into our own brick-and-mortar location and scaled PUUR to over $500K in revenue in under two years — all while launching in Texas, one of the strictest CPOM states in the country.
Trevin grew up surrounded by healthcare professionals — family, close friends, and mentors — and saw firsthand how many clinicians wanted more freedom, more ownership, and more impact, but had no roadmap. Mike understood the burnout and frustration from inside the system. Together, we realized how many clinicians were capable of opening their own clinic — they just needed guidance.
