It depends on your state. Many nurse practitioners need a collaborating physician rather than a traditional medical director, and the specific requirements vary state by state. We help you understand what your state requires and secure the right relationship through our trusted partner network. This is one of the biggest sticking points for NPs, and we handle it directly.
Depending on your state and your licensure, your clinic is set up as an LLC, PLLC, or PC. In many states, healthcare practitioners are required to use a PLLC or PC rather than a standard LLC. We give you the entity formation templates, the filing guidance, and the supporting MSO agreement templates so the structure is right for your situation, and we recommend your own attorney review the legal pieces.
About 1 to 1.5 hours per week. The program is built to fit around a full-time clinical job. We do the heavy lifting on compliance guidance, MSO templates, EMR setup, website, and protocols. Your job is to make the key decisions, show up for our weekly check-ins, and stay engaged as we move through milestones.
90 days is the typical launch timeline. Some clinicians move faster, especially with telehealth or mobile models. Brick-and-mortar clinics with leases and build-outs sometimes take a bit longer due to factors outside our control. What we guarantee is that your entity is formed, your EMR is active, and your website is live by the end of our engagement, or we keep working at no additional cost.
We work in all 50 states, including restrictive practice states. In states with collaborative practice requirements, we help you secure a collaborating physician through our network of trusted partners. Restrictive states often have a longer setup phase for the physician relationship, but it's absolutely doable, and we've helped clinicians navigate it.
It's both, and that's the point. We give you the entity formation templates and guidance, the MSO agreement templates, the medical director or collaborating physician match, the configured EMR, the website, and the protocols. Real assets you customize and put to work, with your own attorney reviewing the legal pieces. But we also coach and mentor you through the entire process, so you understand every decision and know how to run the clinic we build. You walk away with a finished clinic and the knowledge to own it.
